In Tuesday's class, we'll begin to study Parshat Vayigash in our Chumash unit. Since the parsha begins in the middle of the narrative, we'll begin with a refresher course on the storyline leading up to the events that commence in Vayigash.
To frame instruction, we'll use a cooperative learning method called Jigsaw. The Jigsaw method offers a dynamic approach to differentiated instruction, a hallmark of my classroom. For more information about cooperative learning and the Jigsaw method, visit the link in the Educational Materials section of this blog.
