Know Your Nasi

Students began a six-part unit called "Know Your Nasi," in which we study biographical profiles of the nesi'im (national leaders) of the Jewish during the time of Mishna (beginning in the era of the first Beit HaMikdash - Temple).

We study some of the more colorful aspects of their lives (did you know that several were proficient in Greek?) and piece together the formative experiences that frame great leaders.
