Mishna Studies Underway

We've begun to study the mishnayot of Mesechet (Tractate) Berachot using a multi-faceted approach to instruction.

Concepts and new phrases are "pre-taught" using PowerPoint and are then reinforced through guided practice (worksheets and other "dipstick" checks of understanding, etc.).

Next, we appeal to each student's auditory sense by listening to the Mishna Project, a CD of the Mishna set to catchy rock music. (Sample the sounds of the Mishna Project by clicking here.)

Finally, we review information once again (Mishna text book) to reinforce the concepts delineated in the Mishna.
