New mishna

We have tucked away one perek (chapter) in our Mishna studies and have now turned our attention to the second chapter in Mesechet Brachot. Today's mishna explored the remote, yet revealing, conflict that emerges when the deadline for reciting shema coincides with Torah study. Here, you have two competing mitzvot - study of Torah on the one hand, and recitation of shema in its proper time on the other.
