Making the wrong bracha...and it counts?

What happens if you make the wrong bracha on a fruit or vegetable?

Today's mishna explored that question and we learned about the best-case and worst-case scenarios for each. Students applied their knowledge by creating sample list of various foods, intentionally marked the "wrong" bracha for each, and then challenged each other to determined whether this bracha would still, post-facto, fulfill the mitzvah requirement.
