Purim unit begins! Mishloach Manot

Students quickly reviewed the basic laws governing the preparation and delivery of mishloach manot:

• Eligibility standards for what can be included (prepared and two different brachot)
• Reasons for giving mishloach manot (increase friendship, provide food for seudat Purim)
• When to deliver them

Students were presented with various scenarios and had to determine whether the sender would fulfill his or her mitzvah obligation given the present facts.
